ご挨拶

高木医院は昭和59年(1984年)に先代院長である私の父が「高木外科胃腸科医院」として開院いたしました。

当時仙台市付近は、郊外へ住宅地区を発展している時であり、この地区も新築の住宅が次々建築されている最中でした。 父の談では、周辺に他の医療施設があまりなかったため、外科、内科はもとより全ての科の患者を受け入れていた状態であったそうです。 ちなみに父は私とともに診療をしておりましたが、平成30年(2018年)に退職しております。

私は東北大学医学部(現在の医学部医学科)を卒業後勤務医を経て、平成20年より実家であるこの医院に戻り12年が経ち、現在令和に至っております。

東北大学病院消化器内科(旧第3内科)に長く在籍しておりましたので、消化管(胃・小腸・大腸)の内視鏡検査・治療や造影検査、特に大腸がん、ポリープ、炎症性腸疾患(潰瘍性大腸炎・クローン病)の診断・治療に携わる機会が多かったため、それら得意分野を活かしたクリニックにしたいと思っております。

上記の疾患では特殊な検査・治療が必要となりますが、大きな病院の診療レベルと同等にするよう最新の検査機器や治療を取り入れ、私自身日々精進していく所存であります。

内視鏡検査件数は増加の一途をたどり、現在では非常勤専門医の先生方のお力をおかりして充実した検査内容、待ち時間の短縮を図っている次第です。

また当院では、糖尿病や高脂血症等生活習慣病の増加に対しても、より高度な専門医療を行うため非常勤専門医の先生に来ていただき、ご指導を受けるとともに専門外来診療を行っております。

今後もよりよい医療を提供するべくなお一層努力いたす所存です。何卒よろしくお願いいたします。
